This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

have you tried Feedly?
I know, probably old news, but I just found Feedly and its a great way to surf the blogs. (while we're waiting for the snow to melt...) Here's Skippy's Garden.
Hmmm, yes, I've been following you on Feedly ever since Google Reader bit the dust :) I love it, it's one of my favorite tool for time management as I follow dozens of blogs!
You should type your blog's URL into Feedly (as if you were going to add it to your feed) and it'll tell you how many followers you have on it.

Yes! Feedly is my favorite. I've got different categories for food blogs, farm & garden blogs, etc.

I think its telling me I have 1000 followers. Wow. "hi" to everyone.

I switched to feedly too after goolge reader was phased out. It is great for scanning through new posts quickly. Hi back from one of your followers!
