This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.
Yes, #10 is a cuke. No borage in bloom yet in my garden. Last one is a potato flower. Potatoes are in full bloom now. I am looking forward to borage blooms too. My borage reseed and are 1 foot tall plants now. I don't think there are buds yet though.

Beautiful! What is the 10th flower down…the one that has little spikes coming off the fruit?…cucumber? It looks a lot like my Parisian pickling ones.
Is the last photo borage? It's such a striking flower. Mine are still seedlings, and I can't wait to see them in bloom.
