This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he always thought the garden was his. Even though I do all the work, he always stood by me. I'm located near Boston (in USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot and a backyard vegetable garden. I use sustainable organic methods and try to grow all of my family's vegetables.

backyard view 1-18-2014 That clearing in the center is where my new garden will be. I can imagine a rows of vegetables, a large bed of tomato plants, lots of potatoes, roses climbing on an arch, all sorts of greens ....

Gorgeous! :) My field was bare yesterday and overnight a mere dusting. I hope to get much more over today and tomorrow!

When you are indoors and toasty, you enjoy seeing it packed outside. ;)

Yes! I love to look out at cold weather through the windows. I hope you have a few more windows by now. You need to have a couple to watch the snow!

beautiful! i've been reading your blog now for years and i'm really excited to see what you make of a fresh patch! the very best of luck from Australia.

i especially like the use you make of the blogspot labels so it is easy to see the photo progression of specific items. thank you!
