This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy was my first dog and he thought the garden was his, even though I did all the work. Now Suzie and Charley follow in his footsteps. We're located near Boston (USDA zone 6A). I have a community plot, a backyard vegetable garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens, and bees. I use sustainable organic methods and do my best to grow all of my family's vegetables myself.

Your butternut squash look wonderful. I've never had much luck with them, I don't think I have the climate.

Gosh, nice meal from that lot. Is that a squash in the right hand side of the piccie, very interesting. it looks like a giant mushroom.
The raspberries look so delicious, I love raspberries. I have been making low fat summer berry cake this year, it's good as cake or with ice cream (low fat, of course, as dessert).

Awesome! I am growing raspberries also, and picking tons of them. They taste great fresh off the plant.
