google earth image of the belmont community gardens

Isn't Google Earth amazing! It looks like this image is from mid-July of last year. I can see my squash plants are still looking like well-behaved separate hills. By August they were a tangled mess and spilling into adjacent beds. You can see the 16 new plots we added at the upper right.

I sure hope it is not a repeat of the 'season of blight'. That would be bad for all. I have a big bottle of Serenade tucked away in the shed just in case, but I hope I never need to use it.

That is so cool! I love it. I never had any idea it was this large. It would be so fun to garden with others as part of community. I just toil away on my own in the backyard.
